Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Warehouse Operative (Recycling) to help keep our distribution centres running smoothly. The role covers processing recyclables, moving pallets, and ensuring accurate stock in our Warehouse Management System.

You’ll join a fast-paced team, commit to safety, and contribute to reducing waste while enjoying a competitive hourly rate and benefits. £14.45 per hour on a 40-hour contract with 30–35 days holiday pro rata, pension, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to work with all stock types (indoors, outdoors, chilled).
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Good attention to detail, even when moving fast.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles into the recycling area.
• Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently.
• Cooperate with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track.
• Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues.
• Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks.
• Support driver debriefs and ensure pallets are in the right place.
• Maintain high standards with a clean-as-you-go approach.

• £14.45 per hour* | 40 hour contract | Shift time: 2pm - 10:30pm | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme
• Subsidised transport available from Weston-Super-Mare, Newport (available for all shifts )at a cost of £2 each way.
