Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Product Tester in Golborne, England. The role involves receiving and logging returned items, testing to identify faults, and updating our databases with results. You will route products, report discrepancies, and perform general logistics tasks in a busy warehouse environment.

Working hours are 06:00–14:00, Monday to Friday. An immediate start is available after interview; there is potential for long-term opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and booking returned products onto the company database.
• Testing products to identify reported faults and issues.

• Raising and reporting any discrepancies identified during the validation process.
• Undertaking general logistics duties, including moving products and pallets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all health & safety procedures and company processes.
• Completing any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Due to continued growth in business, our client, a leading provider of repair, returns and refurbishment services, is looking to recruit a number of experienced Product Testers to work in their busy department.

The daily tasks will include:

• Receiving and booking returned products onto the company database
• Testing products to identify reported faults and issues
• Updating internal systems with validation and testing results
• Routing products to the correct destination locations and pallets
• Raising and reporting any discrepancies identified during the validation process
• Undertaking general logistics duties, including moving products and pallets
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures and company processes
• Completing any other reasonable duties as requested by management

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good computer and IT skills
• Experience testing home appliances, TVs, audio equipment or small domestic appliances

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 0600 – 1400.

An immediate start is available following a successful interview.
