Job summary

The Best Connection in Golborne is recruiting experienced Electrical Testers to join a busy department. You will test a range of consumer electrical products, ensuring they meet customer quality standards before dispatch.

Shifts are Monday to Friday: 0600-1400 or 1400-2200, with an immediate start after interview. Ongoing position with potential for long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience using and maintaining hand tools.
• Knowledge of testing and reassembling electrical products.
• Understanding of ESD precautions and processes.
• Previous experience in electrical repair is desirable.
• Confidence dismantling electrical products and identifying reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Test, clean, and pack consumer electrical products to customer specifications.
• Follow product-specific work instructions and testing procedures.
• Ensure all accessories, manuals and components are present and correctly packaged.
• Carry out final quality inspections before dispatch.
• Label products and prepare for palletisation and shipment.
• Aim for productivity, turnaround and quality targets.
• Maintain clean and organised workstations and storage areas.

Due to continued growth in business, our client, a leading provider of repair, returns and refurbishment services, is looking to recruit a number of experienced Electrical Testers to work in their busy department.

You’ll be responsible for testing a range of consumer electrical products, ensuring they meet customer quality standards before dispatch.

Key duties include:

• Testing, cleaning and packing consumer electrical products to customer specifications
• Following product-specific work instructions and testing procedures
• Ensuring all accessories, manuals and components are present and correctly packaged
• Carrying out final quality inspections before products are dispatched
• Applying labels and preparing products for safe palletisation and shipment
• Achieving productivity, turnaround and quality targets
• Maintaining clean and organised workstations and storage areas

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience using and maintaining hand tools
• Knowledge of testing and reassembling electrical products
• Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and processes
• Previous experience in electrical repair (Desirable but not essential)
• Confidence dismantling electrical products and identifying reusable components (Desirable but not essential)

There are the following shifts available, All Monday to Friday:

• 0600 - 1400
• 1400 - 2200

An immediate start is available following a successful interview.
