Lawrence Dean Recruitment Ltd is helping a busy employer in Letchworth Garden City recruit a Warehouse Operative with PPT experience for an immediate, full-time temporary role. You will handle picking, packing, loading and general warehouse duties on rotating early and late shifts.

You must hold a current PPT certificate, have warehouse experience and be physically fit to work in a fast-paced environment. £13.73 per hour, Monday to Friday, weekly pay, free parking.

Responsibilities

• Operate a PPT to move goods within the warehouse, safely.

• Load and unload lorries and check stock levels.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas.

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a current PPT certificate? Are you available immediately and looking for a well-paid temporary warehouse role?

Our client, a busy and well-established company in Letchworth Garden City, is looking for a Warehouse Operative with PPT experience to join their team immediately. Working across rotating early and late shifts, this is a hands‑on role combining picking, packing, loading and general warehouse duties.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders, moving stock using a PPT and ensuring goods are loaded and dispatched efficiently.

This is a busy, physical role, so you'll need to be comfortable with manual handling and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating a PPT to safely move goods around the warehouse
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Scanning items using an RF scanner
• Loading and preparing pallets for dispatch
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Checking stock and reporting stock levels
• Liaising with the customer service team
• Supporting with general warehouse duties
• Keeping working areas clean, tidy and safe
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Current PPT is essential
• Previous experience operating a PPT is highly desirable
• RF scanner experience would be advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable with some heavy lifting
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Able to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
• Available for an immediate start
