Rapier Employment is hiring for Warehouse Operatives at Magna Park, Lutterworth (LE17). This full-time, temporary role pays £13.33–£20 per hour with weekly pay and a 4-on, 4-off shift from 6am to 6pm. You will operate Powered Pallet Trucks, handle chilled goods, and follow safety procedures in a busy distribution hub.

Full training is provided; prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required. Reliability, stamina, and the ability to work well in a team are essential to secure a permanent

Job description

Warehouse Operative positions are available in Lutterworth at Magna Park, LE17, through Rapier Employment. This full-time, temporary contract pays £13.33 to £20 per hour, with wages settled every Friday. The shift pattern follows a 4-on, 4-off rota from 6am to 6pm. Duties involve operating Powered Pallet Trucks to load and unload vehicles, handling chilled supermarket goods for prominent UK brands. Full instruction on PPT use is supplied. The workplace is a busy distribution hub, and consistent performance may lead to a permanent role. Candidates should possess reliability, physical stamina for cooler temperatures, and comfort working within a structured team. Prior warehouse experience assists, though it is not essential, given comprehensive training is offered.

Key responsibilities include operating PPTs to load and unload vehicles, working within a chilled warehouse environment, moving pallets of fresh chilled produce for supermarket distribution, using handheld scanners for inventory management and stock tracking, maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment, carrying out general warehouse duties as required, handballing products and breaking down pallets when necessary, which may involve heavy lifting.
