Job summary

Topps Group is seeking PPT trained shift operatives to join its UK distribution team in Kislingbury. The role runs 2PM to 10PM and involves heavy lifting, safe handling, and accurate picking to load pallets for store deliveries.

You will work with management to run an efficient warehouse operation, maintain health and safety standards, and minimise unnecessary costs while supporting a collaborative team. Previous warehouse experience and PPT qualification are essential; training will be provided

Responsibilities

To support the business by ensuring accurately picked product is loaded and sent to stores safely and on time.
To work with Management teams to run an efficient, safe warehouse operation.
To minimise unnecessary costs and operate with a cost-focused attitude.
To ensure Health and Safety legislation and local requirements are met at all times.
To promote a safe working environment and report issues to Line Managers.
To undertake heavy lifting.
To operate MHE when licensed, safely and efficiently.
To pick products in matching shades and report damages or packaging issues.
To palletise products securely for transit.
To keep pick faces, aisles, marshalling areas and yard clear of obstructions.
To carry out warehouse requests to high standards and escalate issues.

About The Role

PPT Trained Shift Operatives – PPT TRAINED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Big things are happening at Topps Group, home to premier UK tile brands including CTD, Topps Tiles, Pro Tiler Tools, Parkside and Fired Earth. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Working within our distribution centre based at NN4 9EX, you will be working 2PM - 10PM. Our products are heavy, and lifting is a massive part of this role, so we need people who are comfortable doing this.

Key Responsibilities

To support the business by ensuring accurately picked product is correctly loaded and sent to stores in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.
To work with Management teams to run an efficient, safe warehouse operation.
To work with a cost focused attitude ensuring unnecessary extra costs to the business are minimised.
To work in such a way that ensures Health and Safety legislation, and local safety requirements are met at all times.
To work with the Management teams to actively promote a safe working environment, reporting back any issues to Line Managers.
Able to undertake heavy lifting.
Once suitable licences are attained, to operate MHE in a safe and efficient manner which actively minimises damage to product and ensures a safe working environment for all colleagues.
To accurately pick product in the same shade where possible and report back any damages, poor packaging or product issues to Line Management.
To assemble and wrap pallets in such a way that the product is stable, secure and undamaged in transit.
To transfer all waste into the assigned areas leaving all pick faces, aisles, marshalling areas and yard spaces clear and safe from obstructions.
To ensure all requests within the warehouse operation are carried out to highest standards raising any issues to the management team.
