Job summary

Siamo Recruitment a division of Siamo Group is hiring for a PM shift warehouse role in a busy, chilled facility in the Lutterworth area. You will pick, pack and process orders accurately within a structured team, using voice picking tech to support on-time fulfilment.

The role operates 14:00–22:00, 5 days per week, with weekend rotation. Previous warehouse experience and ability to lift and move goods are essential, with safety and KPI focus throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Demonstrated order picking and packing accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to operate manual handling equipment safely (e.g. pallet trucks, pump trucks).
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately from pick locations using voice picking headsets.
• Pack items securely and correctly, ensuring labels and packaging meet standards.
• Move stock using manual handling equipment and report discrepancies.

Join a busy, well-organised refrigerated warehouse operation where your accuracy and reliability directly support smooth order fulfilment for major customers.

This temp to perm PM shift role offers consistent work, clear processes, and a focused team environment where performance and safety are prioritised.

About the Role:

You will play a key part in the warehouse team, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately and on time during the afternoon and evening shift. Working within established procedures and using warehouse systems and scanners, you will help maintain efficient stock movement and high service levels. Your contribution will support daily KPIs and the overall performance of the Lutterworth operation.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CHILLED WAREHO0USE 3-5 DEGREES

Hours/Days of Work:

14:00pm - 22:00pm (5 days out of 7 so will include weekend working on rota basis)

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders accurately from pick locations using voice picking headsets
• Pack items securely and correctly, ensuring labels, documentation, and packaging meet required standards
• Load, unload, and move stock using manual handling equipment in line with safety guidelines
• Conduct basic stock checks and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors
• Follow all site health and safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and safe working practices
• Work to daily performance targets and KPIs for picking, packing, and throughput
• Collaborate with team members and shift leaders to maintain workflow and resolve basic issues
• Support general warehouse duties as required, including palletising, wrapping, and waste disposal

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
• Demonstrated order picking and packing accuracy in a fast-paced setting
• Able to operate manual handling equipment safely (e.g. pallet trucks, pump trucks)
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment
• Comfortable working to performance targets and KPIs on a PM shift pattern
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow standard operating procedures
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in a high-volume e-commerce or retail fulfilment centre
• Previous work on late or night shifts within a 24/7 operation
• Experience within a chilled environment

Essential Skills:

• Must have had warehouse picking experience
• Able to carry out manual tasks as this will involve lifting and moving products so you must be physically fit and able to carry our required tasks
• Reliable and able to work full time hours
