Job summary

Gi Group in Atherstone is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers for AM/Day shifts. 8am or 9am starts, averaging 7–8 hours, with fixed days such as Thurs/Fri/Sat or Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon. Full-time and part-time options, some weekend work, and a site transfer possibility in 2027.

Starting at £13.44 per hour, rising to £14.93 after 12 weeks. Duties include order picking with voice headset, operating LLOP, stacking pallets, pallet wrapping, quality checks and delivering to dispatch.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or order picking preferred.
• Willing to work weekends on a rota.
• Drug and Alcohol tests will be required before start.

Job duties for a Warehouse Operative:

The role can be physically demanding at times, so applicants should be prepared for heavy work

Ideal candidates will be flexible to work in other areas/departments as and when needed

Requirements:

• Ideally have own transport to Atherstone CV9 and Bardon, Coalville LE67 if happy to transfer in 2027
• Available to work weekends on a Rota
• These roles will involve working in either the Chill or Ambient environments
• Site tour and interviews are to be arranged
• Drug and Alcohol tests will be required before start
