Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited in Bath is hiring a Warehouse Operative (Picking & Packing) on a temporary basis. This hands-on role emphasises accuracy, pace and attention to detail to get orders out correctly and on time.

Pay is £12.71 per hour, paid weekly, with early and late shifts available across the week. Start date is ASAP, and training on handheld scanners and basic warehouse systems is provided.

• Stock replenishment and keeping pick areas tidy.
• General warehouse support as required.

Warehouse Operative - Picking & Packing (Temporary)

We're recruiting Warehouse Operatives (Picking & Packing) to join a busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, pace and attention to detail are key to getting orders out correctly and on time.

Shifts available:

• 6:00am-11:00am, Monday to Friday


• 2:00pm-7:00pm, Monday to Friday


• 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday to Friday


• 8:00am-4:00pm, Saturday and Sunday

Key responsibilities of Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and packing orders accurately (small items)


• Labelling, sealing and preparing parcels for dispatch


• Using handheld scanners / basic warehouse systems (training provided)


• Stock replenishment and keeping pick areas tidy


• General warehouse support as required


• Working to productivity and quality targets while following site processes

What we're looking for in a Warehouse Operative:

• Warehouse picking/packing experience ideal (not essential)


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace


• Reliable and punctual


• Basic English for labels/scanning


• Comfortable with standing/walking for most of the shift and light-to-moderate lifting
