Job summary

GI Group is hiring Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers in Atherstone CV9. The role offers AM shifts or Nights with relocation to Bardon, Coalville LE67 in 2027. It is a full-time temporary-to-permanent position with generous hourly pay and benefits after permanent status.

You will join a busy team with a proactive environment, and there are yearly pay increases as you transition to permanent status.

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehouse Operations or Order Picking is beneficial.
• Able to work in a busy warehouse environment.
• Flexible to work AM shifts or Nights and on weekends.
• Physical role that may involve heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate LLOP and stack goods onto pallets.
• Quality check goods and deliver to Dispatch.
• Assist in other areas/departments as needed.
• Participate in probationary period leading to permanent contract.

Location: Atherstone CV9 - will be relocating to Bardon, Coalville LE67 in 2027

Duration: Full Time - Temp-Perm

AM shifts or Nights available

This role will be relocating to Bardon, Coalville LE67 in 2027.

You will join a busy working environment with a friendly and helpful team. The role is Temp-Perm with excellent pay rates and offer great benefits, progression opportunities when permanent.

Warehouse Order Picking Role AM Shift

• 5am- Finish or 6am-Finish (Averaging around 7-8 hours per shift)
• Working 4 on / 2 off Rota

Warehouse Order Picking Role NIGHT Shift

• 7.30pm- Finish (Averaging around 7-8 hours per shift)
• Rota 1 - 5on/3off or;
• Both Rotas available and will involve working some weekends
• £13.44 - Hours worked before 10pm
• £16.79 - Hours worked after 10pm
• £14.93 - After 12 week - Hours worked before 10pm
• £18.66 - After 12 weeks - Hours worked after 10pm

Job duties for a Warehouse Operative

• Operating LLOP (Low-Level Order Picker) - Training Provided
• Stacking goods onto pallets
• Quality checking goods
• Delivering to Dispatch
• Training Provided
• The role can be physically demanding at times, so applicants should be prepared for heavy work
• Ideal candidates will be flexible to work in other areas/departments as and when needed
• Permanent contract after probationary period

Requirements

• Ideally have own transport to Atherstone CV9 and Bardon, Coalville LE67 if happy to transfer in 2027
• Be available to work weekends on a Rota
• Site Tour and Interviews are to be arranged
• Drug and Alcohol tests will be required before start
