Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operative (nights) in Northampton to support the brand-new warehouse operations. You will load/unload goods, operate material handling equipment, and use the warehouse management system while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role offers full-time permanent employment with Sunday-Thursday night shifts (22:00-06:00) and a competitive salary including a base and shift allowance, plus pension and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• A current FLT, counterbalance, reach truck or pallet stacker licence (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using manual handling equipment.
• Undertake training for any equipment or IT systems.
• Use the warehouse management system to manage workload.
• Follow health & safety guidelines to support a safe working environment.
• Complete relevant paperwork and goods checks.

The Role As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of our brand-new Northampton warehouse located near junction 15 of the M1. Working as part of this brand-new operation, you will support a variety of warehouse activities to meet the changing needs of the business. As the operation develops, your day-to-day tasks may change, requiring a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
