Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Liverpool to join our fast-paced logistics team. The role is permanent, 30–32 hours per week, with shifts across various days and hours from 01:00 to 08:00.

You will be on your feet throughout the shift, handling parcels and supporting a smooth delivery service. You will receive full training from Day 1, uniform and PPE, with opportunities for progression as we promote from within.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Contract Type: Permanent – 30-32 Hours Per Week

• Hours of Work: 0100-0800

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
