Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative for night shifts to pick, load and store a range of shelved, chilled and frozen products. You’ll use Qpick technology with an arm scanner and operate handling equipment after training. The role requires physical fitness and team focus to ensure timely, accurate order dispatch.

Shifts run between 17:30 and 00:00 with a 2-in-7 rota. Benefits include holiday and pension options, health plan, life cover, and various discounts as part of Bidfood UK’s

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-temperature environments and using Qpick to pick orders.
• Night shifts 5:30pm–12:00am with 2 in 7 days rota.
• Able to work physically; able to move and relocate goods using handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Loading products and ensuring correct storage and placement.
• Using handling equipment safely (training provided).
• Relocating products using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.

Our night shifts have varying start times between 5:30pm and 12:00am (midnight) and rotas are any 2 in 7 days.

As Warehouse Operative on our nights shifts, you’ll handle a wide range of shelved, chilled and frozen products.

You’ll be:

• Picking orders through Qpick technology – so you’ll be wearing an arm scanner.
• Loading products, and making sure they’re arranged and stored correctly.
• Using our handling equipment (we’ll train you on how to use it safely!).
• Relocating products using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.

You’ll be moving around a lot, so a good level of physical fitness will help you on your journey with us. It’s also important that you care about your team, our customers and our goods. Most of all, you’ll work hard to make sure our drivers leave the warehouse on time and with the right orders in their trucks, so our customers get the food they need.
