Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) in Chepstow is seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to pick orders, load/unload vehicles and put stock away. You will work Sundays to Thursdays, 19:00–03:30, with ongoing training across forklift operation and safety, in a fast-growing national automotive company offering development routes and staff benefits.

• Pick orders and process correctly for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Put-away received stock into correct locations and conduct stock checks.
• Support outbound loading to ensure orders go out on time.

Job description

Micheldever Tyres is looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operativeto be responsible for picking orders, loading and unloading vehicles and putting stock away. The role involves manual handling, heavy lifting duties and occasional Van or Forklift Truck driving duties.

• Location: Chepstow
• Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 19:00 - 03:30

About the role:

• Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported as required
• Ensure high levels of count accuracy at Stock Audits, effectively communicating stock discrepancies, shortages or problem areas
• Ensure any movement of goods within the Warehouse environment is efficient and accurate according to instruction
• Ensure out-bound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction, Company Practice and current legislation
• Ensure all received stock is 'put-away' in the correct locations within the Warehouse and all goods due for dispatch are processed, picked and loaded correct to customer order and DC requirements.

About you:

• We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals with a strong work ethic and good customer service skills.
• You will have an understanding of workplace Health & Safety and work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a similar fast-paced, physically demanding environment, Fork lift licence, Counterbalance or Reach Truck, ideal but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
