Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative – Nights in Winchester to join our fast-growing national operation. You will handle order picking, loading/unloading, and stock put‑aways, with manual handling and occasional forklift duties.

Training in safety and development paths are provided. The role offers strong development routes, apprenticeship options, and opportunities to progress into driving roles or supervisory positions, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals with a strong work ethic and good team work skills.
• You will have an understanding of workplace Health & Safety and work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a similar fast-paced, physically demanding environment is desirable; forklift experience is ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and load/unload vehicles.
• Put stock away and check goods for faults.
• Maintain high stock count accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Ensure outbound vehicles are loaded safely and correctly.
• Move goods within the warehouse efficiently and according to instructions.

Micheldever Tyres is looking for an enthusiasticWarehouse Operative - Nights to be responsible for picking orders, loading and unloading vehicles and putting stock away. The role involves manual handling, heavy lifting duties and occasional Van or Forklift Truck driving duties.

Sunday to Thursday8pm-4:30am

About the role:

• Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported as required
• Ensure high levels of count accuracy at Stock Audits, effectively communicating stock discrepancies, shortages or problem areas
• Ensure any movement of goods within the Warehouse environment is efficient and accurate according to instruction
• Ensure out-bound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction, Company Practice and current legislation
• Ensure all received stock is ‘put-away’ in the correct locations within the Warehouse and all goods due for dispatch are processed, picked and loaded correct to customer order and DC requirements.
