Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) is seeking a Warehouse Operative to pick orders, load and unload vehicles, and store stock efficiently. The role involves manual handling and a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 6am to 3.30pm shifts.

Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred; forklift experience is ideal but not essential. The company offers staff discounts, a range of benefits, and strong development routes in logistics and health & safety training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check goods received and sent out for faults and report as required.
• Maintain high levels of stock count accuracy at audits and communicate discrepancies.
• Move goods within the warehouse efficiently and accurately according to instruction.
• Load outbound vehicles in a proper, safe manner according to instruction and company policy.
• Put-away received stock in correct locations and process dispatches to customer orders.

About the role:

Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported asrequired

Ensurehigh levelsof count accuracy at Stock Audits, effectively communicating stock discrepancies,shortagesor problem areas

Ensure any movement of goods within the Warehouse environment is efficient andaccurateaccording to instruction

Ensure out-bound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction, CompanyPracticeand current legislation

Ensure all received stock is ‘put-away’ in the correct locations within the Warehouse and all goods due for dispatch are processed,pickedand loaded correct to customer order and DC requirements.
