Job summary

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing business in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure permanent employment.

As part of the warehouse team you will pick orders, replenish stock, support goods in/out operations and assist with general warehouse duties to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with picking, replenishment and general warehouse duties.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A Counterbalance FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing orders accurately for dispatch.
• Replenishing stock locations to maintain product availability.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock throughout the warehouse.
• Carrying out manual handling duties safely and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
• Putting stock away accurately and safely.
• Conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory control.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
