Charlie Bigham's Quarry Kitchen in Wells is seeking a Warehouse Operative for Goods In in a chilled environment with a 40-hour week on a permanent contract. The role offers a starting rate of £14.10 per hour rising to £14.63 after probation, with overtime at 1.5x.

You will join the Logistics team, handling goods in/out, picking and loading orders, and supporting smooth handovers in a modern chilled warehouse. A forklift license is desirable but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries of fresh ingredients and products through Goods In
• Replenishing warehouse stock and supporting the flow of products from production kitchens
• Accurately picking orders and ensuring they’re ready to meet delivery schedules
• Wrapping, preparing and loading orders for dispatch through Goods Out
• Supporting effective shift handovers to ensure a smooth transition between teams
• Identifying and reporting any equipment issues within your area
• Working closely with colleagues in a fast-paced environment to deliver daily operational targets
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, food safety and housekeeping throughout your shift
