Charlie Bigham's is seeking a warehouse operative on a Monday to Thursday pattern in a modern chilled warehouse. You’ll help receive goods, stock the floor, pick orders, and prepare shipments for dispatch, with a focus on accuracy, safety and teamwork.

• Supporting shift handovers and reporting equipment issues.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, food safety and housekeeping.

Role Responsibility

• Receiving deliveries of fresh ingredients and products through Goods In
• Replenishing warehouse stock and supporting the flow of products from our production kitchens
• Accurately picking orders and ensuring they're ready to meet delivery schedules
• Wrapping, preparing and loading orders for dispatch through Goods Out
• Supporting effective shift handovers to ensure a smooth transition between teams
• Identifying and reporting any equipment issues within your area
• Working closely with colleagues in a fast‑paced environment to deliver daily operational targets
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, food safety and housekeeping throughout your shift

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment
• A proactive, reliable approach with good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑focused setting

A forklift or reach truck licence is desirable, but not essential — we’ll support training where needed.
