Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is hiring a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver for our Bristol Distribution Park site. This role covers ambient and temperature-controlled environments, including receiving deliveries, storing materials, picking orders, and dispatch preparation using FLT trucks.

Shifts are 06:00–18:00 on a 4-on 4-off pattern. We’re seeking reliable individuals with good English, attention to detail, and prior FMCG/food warehouse experience, plus Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2

Qualifications

• Good level of English literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in FMCG/food warehouse environment.
• Food Safety Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, wrap and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load vehicles using forklift trucks and warehouse lifting equipment.
• Ensure stock accuracy and correct rotation (FIFO).
• Use warehouse systems and scanning equipment (RDT) to manage stock.
• Carry out quality and expiry checks on materials.
• Ensure allergen materials are stored safely and separately.
• Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organised using Clean As You Go (CAYGO).
• Support new team members and contribute to continuous improvement.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Bristol. This role involves working across both ambient and temperature-controlled environments within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods through the warehouse, including receiving deliveries, storing materials, picking customer orders, and preparing vehicles for dispatch using warehouse equipment such as FLT trucks.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the warehouse team, you will:

• Receive, unload and store incoming deliveries safely and efficiently
