Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for night shifts in Bristol. You will handle receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch preparation, using FLT and warehouse equipment. The role combines ambient and temperature-controlled environments in a fast-paced setting.

Training is provided. Benefits and overtime opportunities accompany this role, with a nights shift pattern of 18:00–06:00 on a 4-on 4-off rota.

Qualifications

• Good level of English literacy and numeracy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in FMCG or food warehouse environments is preferred.
• Food Safety Level 2 required.
• Health & Safety Level 2 required.
• Basic IT or warehouse system experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and store incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, wrap and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load vehicles using forklift trucks and warehouse lifting equipment.
• Ensure stock accuracy and correct rotation (FIFO).
• Use warehouse systems and scanning equipment (RDT) to manage stock.
• Carry out quality and expiry checks on materials.
• Ensure allergen materials are stored safely and separately.
• Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized using Clean As You Go (CAYGO) practices.
• Support new team members and contribute to continuous improvement.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Bristol. This role involves working across both ambient and temperature-controlled environments within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods through the warehouse, including receiving deliveries, storing materials, picking customer orders, and preparing vehicles for dispatch using warehouse equipment such as FLT trucks.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the warehouse team, you will:
