Job summary

Meyer Timber in Tilbury is seeking a Warehouse Operative for night shifts to join our busy warehouse team. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, pick and load multi-part orders, and ensure safe unloading and replenishment of stock.

This role is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with nights and no weekend work; a valid counterbalance FLT certificate is essential, along with warehouse experience and good physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Physically active due to manual handling.
• Experience loading multi-drop vehicles preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Use of Counterbalance Forklift.
• Picking and loading multi-part orders.
• Stock unloading and replenishment.
• Loading internal & external vehicles safely.
• Manual handling of timber products.

We're looking for a Forklift Driver to join our Tilbury Warehouse on the night shift.

• Use of Counterbalance Forklift

• Loading internal & external vehicles in a safe manner
• Manual handling of timber products

Skills, knowledge & expertise:

• MUST hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate
• Relevant warehouse experience
• Physically active due to manual handling
• Previous experience of loading multi drop vehicles preferred but not essential
