Job summary

Meyer Timber Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative for the Grangemouth depot. The role involves picking and loading multi-part orders and manual handling of timber products. You will operate a counterbalance forklift and contribute to smooth daily operations in a busy warehouse.

Fixed to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with benefits including pension, holiday closure, and on-site parking. Experience with timber goods and a valid FLT certificate are highly valued.

• Must hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate of competence.
• Relevant warehouse experience.
• Physically active due to manual handling and heavy lifting.

Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Grangemouth depot, your role will include picking and loading multi part orders using a Counterbalance Forklift.

Key responsibilities & duties:-

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Picking and loading multi part orders
• Occasional stock unloading and replenishment
• Manual handling of timber products
• Use of FLT counterbalance

Skills, knowledge & expertise:-

• MUST hold a valid counterbalance FLT certificate of competence
• Relevant warehouse experience
• Physically active due to manual handling and heavy lifting
• Working with timber products advantageous
