Job summary

Gardiner Bros & Co Ltd, based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Warehouse Operative on a fixed-term contract running until December. The role involves picking and packing orders, assisting with returns, and working on mezzanine levels.

You should have a good level of English, be reliable with a strong team spirit, and previous warehouse experience is essential. The role includes lifting up to 25 kg and a 39.5-hour week with specific shifts.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supporting our returns team, processing customer returns when required.
• Meeting daily productivity targets while maintaining quality.
• Ensuring all orders are packed to a high standard before dispatch.
• Comfortable with manual handling, lifting parcels up to 25kg.
• Using warehouse systems (Oracle WMS experience is an advantage, but not essential).
• Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of the warehouse team.

Job Role: Warehouse Operative – Fixed Term Contract
Hours:Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 16:30 & Friday 8:00 – 16:00 (39.5)
Salary:£13.45 per hour
Location: Stonehouse, GL10 3EZ

As we enter our busy peak season, we're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking warehouse operatives to join our day shift team on a fixed-term contract, running until the end of December.

What the role will involve?
