Job summary

Pipe and Climate Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Sheffield. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a typical 08:00am–17:00pm day and a 1-hour break.

You will perform general warehouse tasks, pick and pack orders, assist customers at the trade counter, and ensure deliveries align with paperwork while keeping stock organised. The role offers a competitive salary with potential bonuses and a strong benefits package.

• Experience working with customers.
• Experience working in a warehouse.
• Able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.
• Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse.
