Job summary

Wolseley Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative for its Sheffield site. You will perform general warehouse duties, pick and pack orders, load and unload vehicles, and assist customers at the trade counter while ensuring paperwork matches deliveries.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour break. Benefits include a competitive salary, bonus potential and a pension scheme.

Responsibilities

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.
• Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Sheffield, you’ll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.

The role is full time, working 40 hours a week. Monday - Friday: 08:00am - 17:00 am with 1hrs break.
