Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our client in Chapeltown, Sheffield S35. The role runs Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, temporary for 2–6 weeks, paying up to £13.45 per hour with £20.17 overtime.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming goods, breaking down and rebuilding pallets, picking and packing orders, loading vehicles, coordinating courier collections, and maintaining accurate stock records. Counterbalance FLT licence preferred.

Job description

The Warehouse Operative / Packing Operative position in Sheffield (Chapeltown, S35) involves inspecting incoming goods, rebuilding pallets, and preparing orders for dispatch. Working Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break, you will also load vehicles, coordinate courier collections, and operate pallet trucks. Maintaining precise inventory records and supporting daily housekeeping are essential duties. Prior warehouse or industrial experience is required, with a Counterbalance FLT licence preferred. This temporary contract lasts two to six weeks, paying up to £13.45 per hour, plus £20.17 overtime. Warehouse Operatives Required!

Location: Chapeltown Sheffield S35
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 10am-18.00 with 30min unpaid break
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
