Job summary

Sysco GB in Hemel Hempstead is hiring a part-time Warehouse Operative for day shifts (20 hours per week) with a base salary up to £15,987 per year. Roles include picking, packing, stock replenishment and loading onto lorries.

You will join a close-knit team in a multi-temperature warehouse, with training and benefits including a pension, generous holidays, and discounts on Sysco products. Shifts: Sunday-Thursday 14:45-18:45 or Monday-Friday 14:45-18:45.

Qualifications

• In-depth attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Basic numeracy and counting skills.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Desirable multi-skilled warehouse experience.
• Ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 25kg.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack quality products for customers.

£15,987 per annum (£31,975 full time equivalent) 20 hours per week + bonus & great benefits

Sunday to Thursday 14:45 - 18:45 OR Monday to Friday 14:45 - 18:45 (4 hours per shift)

Our Warehouse Operators are the heart of our business. Joining a close-knit team in our multi-temperature warehouse, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety as you get involved in everything from picking and packing quality products for customers, to replenishing stock and loading onto lorries. You’ll also be supported by our friendly admin team, so that every order is processed accurately, swiftly and in line with health and food safety procedures.

What you bring to the mix

As someone who genuinely cares about providing a great service for customers and colleagues, you have what it takes to make a difference here:

• a good eye for detail and accuracy
• like being part of a team
• basic language skills and the ability to perform simple calculations
• comfortable working in a cold environment
• ideally, experience in a multi-skilled warehouse – although this isn’t essential
• the ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 25kg.
