Job summary

Fresh Direct, part of Sysco, is hiring Warehouse Operatives in Manchester for Days or Afternoon shifts. You’ll pick, pack and check ambient, chilled and frozen items for delivery, starting with a full induction and optional forklift/first aid training.

Salary £28,990 per annum plus attendance bonus and a strong benefits package. Roles involve Sundays to Thursdays with some Fridays, and potential progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable working in a cool environment.
• Own transport preferred.
• Full induction with optional forklift and first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and check the quality of ambient, chilled and frozen food items for delivery.
• Prepare orders for drivers to deliver.
• Attend a full induction with optional accredited training including forklift and first aid.
• Shift options include Days or Afternoon; occasional Friday overtime.

• Days: Sunday - Thursday with occasional Fridays 06:30am - 15:00pm


• Afternoon: Sunday - Thursday with occasional Fridays 15:00pm - 23:30pm

It starts with a full induction, but with our backing and optional accredited training that includes forklift, first aid, there's no limit to your potential.

As well as an eye for detail, you'll need to be comfortable in a cool environment (we'll provide a free thermal uniform to keep you warm), be able to lift weights of up to 25kg, and ideally have your own transport to get here.
