Job summary

CML stores and delivers a wide variety of food products in a chilled environment. We are looking for Day Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Telford on a permanent and full-time basis.

The role features a 4ON 4OFF days schedule from 06:00 to 18:00, with a 25,445.42 GBP basic salary per year. You will load/unload pallets using ride-on PPTs, scan pallets with RF guns, and move stock to designated locations in a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled environment of 2–5 degrees
• Able to work to targets within a fast-paced environment
• MHE experience advantageous but not essential
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
• Conscientious and reliable nature

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets using ride on powered pallet truck (PPT)
• Loading and unloading different type of trailers using RF Gun – to scan pallets
• Moving pallets throughout the warehouse and allocating them to relevant locations
• This shift operates on a Banked Hours Scheme
• The shift pattern is 4ON 4OFF Days 06:00am-18:00pm

Job Description

Shift: 4ON 4OFF Days - 06:00am-18:00pm.

Salary: £25,445.42 basic per annum.

• £1000 attendance bonus per annum
• £1500 annual banked hours payment per annum
• £500 Reach truck payment per annum
• £250 Counterbalance and MEWP payment per annum.

Your job duties will include but not limited to the following:

• The shift patterns above operateon a Banked Hours Scheme.
• This role includes but is not limited to:
• Loading and unloading pallets using ride on powered pallet truck (PPT)
• Loading and unloading different type of trailers using RF GUN – to scan pallets
• Moving pallets throughout the warehouse and allocating them to relevant locations
• This is a very engaging role due to the fast-paced nature of our operation.
