Job summary

Bidfood in Paddock Wood is looking for a Warehouse Operative (days) to pick customer orders, load vehicles and store products safely in ambient, chilled and frozen zones.

You will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team to ensure orders are accurate and drivers depart on schedule. Full training on equipment is provided; Reach Trucks are essential and physical fitness is important for this active role.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday
Shift times: 06:00 - 16:00
Salary: £34,918.88

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.
