Job summary

Bidfood UK is hiring a Warehouse Operative Midshift to join our busy distribution centre in London. You will pick customer orders, load vehicles and move stock across ambient, chilled and frozen areas, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

We value a proactive, accurate worker with experience on counterbalance or reach trucks, good teamwork and a strong safety mindset. Competitive pay and company benefits are available.

Play an important part in our journey

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWarehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential
• A good level of physical fitness, as this is an active role involving regular movement and manual handling
