Job summary

Bidfood in Plymouth (Lee Mill Industrial Estate) is seeking a Warehouse Operative (days) to join our ambient, chilled and frozen environments, picking customer orders and preparing them for delivery.

You will work Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:00, with a practical role requiring good teamwork, accuracy and physical fitness. Training provided, and you’ll contribute to keeping drivers on schedule and customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience preferred.
• Able to handle manual tasks and weights.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of pickfaces
• Bulking of stock from Goods In
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders

Location: Lee Mill Industrial Estate, Plymouth, Devon, PL21 9EW
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 07:00am to 16.00pm
Salary:30,293.51

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.
