Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a General Operative on behalf of our client in Smethwick. The role offers £12.71 per hour, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

Duties include carrying out general warehouse tasks, keeping the warehouse clean and organised, manual handling of low-access equipment, assisting customers at the trade counter and delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively and confidently.
• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Have good timekeeping and attendance.
• Are comfortable dealing directly with customers.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking low-access equipment such as ladders.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Carrying out manual handling of low-access equipment.
