Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in Smethwick for a Warehouse Operative. Working Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, temporary to permanent opportunity, with ongoing support from your dedicated recruitment consultant.

You will accurately pick and pack homeware, palletise stock, load/unload containers, move stock, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Previous warehouse experience required; FLT Counterbalance is a plus; team player with a reliable, punctual

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• FLT Counterbalance licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and packing homeware products.
• Palletising and preparing stock for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading containers.
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment.
• Completing any other warehouse duties as directed by management.

The Role
