Job summary

DP World c/o COOP in Wellingborough is seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team on a permanent basis. We value teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude, with a workplace where your contributions matter in a 24/7 operation (excluding Christmas Day). Location: Coop, Wellingborough NN8 6AQ.

Hours: full-time 37.5 per week, with Day, Backs and Night shifts. Base pay starts at £13.13 per hour, plus premiums for nights (+£2.55) and weekends (+£1.82).

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Reliable and a team player.
• Willing to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Picking, moving, and tracking stock using MHE or by hand.
• Utilising digital tools to manage orders efficiently.

Our warehouse operates around the clock—excluding Christmas Day —ensuring shelves are stocked and orders are fulfilled efficiently, thanks to advanced technology and strong team spirit.

Role Details

• Location: Coop, Wellingborough NN8 6AQ
• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Pay Rates

• Days04:00–12:00£14.17
• Days06:00–14:00£13.49
• Backs12:00–20:00£14.17
• Backs14:00–22:00£14.77
• Nights22:00-06:00£16.05
• Base rate: £13.13 per hour, with additional premiums: Nights (+£2.55 per hour), Weekends (+£1.82 per hour)

Your Responsibilities

• Picking, moving, and tracking stock—sometimes using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and sometimes by hand
• Utilising digital tools to manage orders efficiently
• Maintaining a safe, tidy, and timely warehouse environment
• Supporting fellow team members to achieve collective goals

What We’re Looking For

• Experience is welcome, but not required—we provide comprehensive training
• Reliable, eager to learn, and ready for a challenge
• Strong team player

Shift Patterns Available

• Backs: 12-20.00 hrs or 14:00–22:00 hrs, any 5 days out of 7 (as per company rota) or Tuesday-Saturday
• Nights: 22-06:00 hrs, any 5 days out of 7 (as per company rota)
• Full-time- working 50% weekends
