Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. is seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives for an afternoon shift in Wellingborough. The role involves picking, packing, loading, receiving, and stock handling in a busy warehouse environment.

You will work Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm on a full-time basis, with opportunities to develop MHE skills and other warehouse competencies, supported by the Quest Employment team.

Qualifications

• Have previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Be flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse when required.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately using scanners, pick sheets or warehouse systems.
• Packing and preparing goods ready for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
• Putting stock away into the correct warehouse locations.
• Replenishing picking locations when required.
• Supporting stock counts and inventory checks.
• Moving and relocating stock around the warehouse.
• Handling products carefully to minimise damage and waste.
• Working towards daily individual and team targets.
• Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) when trained and authorised.
• Supporting general warehouse organisation and housekeeping.

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation based in Wellingborough.

This is a hands‑on role supporting the movement, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of stock. You will be expected to work safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards across the warehouse.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties may include:

• Picking customer orders accurately using scanners, pick sheets or warehouse systems.
• Packing and preparing goods ready for dispatch.

• Work in line with company quality and operational standards.

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

• PPT, LLOP, Reach Truck, Counterbalance or VNA.
• Handheld scanners.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Stock control and inventory processes.
• High-volume distribution or logistics environments.
