About Us:

PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacy, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.

Role responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our Birmingham Distribution Centre.

This role is based in a physically intensive area of the warehouse, requiring a high level of manual handling and sustained physical activity. The role involves preparing, sorting, and moving outbound goods, loading and unloading vehicles, and ensuring accurate and timely despatch of orders. Tasks include lifting and stacking heavy items, working to tight deadlines, and maintaining a clean and organized loading area. Candidates must be physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under time pressure. A strong team ethic and attention to detail are essential to ensure all shipments are dispatched correctly and on schedule.

Training and Support

You will receive a comprehensive induction from the Learning and Development Facilitators.
