Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is hiring a Warehouse Operative in the Cage Handling department at Severnside. You will help ensure smooth packing area operations, trolley wash and palletised processes within the chill, from 7-7 shifts on a 4 on/4 off cycle.

The role requires experience in fast-paced warehousing, ability to work in a team or independently, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and processes to meet production output and quality targets.
• Transport empty trolleys and manage palletised operations within the chill.
• Follow standard operating procedures, risk assessments and PMS.
• Maintain quality control and ensure product standards are met.
• Operate equipment with asset care and drive waste reduction and cost savings.
• Perform accredited chemical testing where applicable.
• Complete operational documentation.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives within the Cage Handling department at Muller Severnside.

The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth running of the packing areas of production, including trolley wash, trolley loading and palletised operations within the chill.

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Salary: £33,237.62 per annum

Shifts: 4 on 4 off 2 days / 2 nights 7-7

Location: Severnside (Stroud–Gloucester)

Responsibilities

• Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required output in order to make the best quality product.
• Transport empty trolleys across the chill department.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, risk assessments and PMS.
• Consistent quality control inspection and awareness, assuring customer expectations and product standards.
• Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings.
• Performing accredited chemical testing where applicable.
• Completion of operational documentation.
