Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring Warehouse Operatives at our Bristol Customer Fulfilment Centre in the UK. Roles include Inbound, Pick and Despatch with day or night shifts. Expect to work in ambient and chilled areas, with potential overtime and progression opportunities.

With our core roster system, you'll receive your shift pattern 6 to 13 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan around family, friends, holidays and personal commitments.

Please note that all colleagues may be required to work across both ambient and chilled areas (up to -5°C) as part of their role.

What we’re looking for

• New to warehousing? No problem. Skills can be taught. Bring your positive attitude and we'll support you every step of the way..
• You must be 18 or over.
• You must be able to handle Meat and Alcohol
• You must be within reasonable commute time from the site using your method of transport.
• For your safety and the safety of others, you must be able to understand and follow Health & Safety briefings and operational instructions

Available Roles & Shifts

Inbound

Receive deliveries from suppliers and ensure products are processed and stored correctly. Your work helps keep the operation running smoothly and supports both our robotic systems and picking teams.

Shift Options

• Days: 07:00 to 18:00 (4 days per week)
• Nights: 19:00 to 06:00 (4 nights per week)

Pick

Help prepare customer orders by picking and packing products into shopping totes. You'll work alongside our innovative technology and robotic systems to ensure every order is packed accurately and with care.

Shift Options

• Days: 06:00 to 16:00 (4 days per week)
• Nights: 19:00 to 06:00 (4 nights per week)

Despatch

Be the final step in getting orders out to customers. You'll load totes into delivery frames for our vans and sort returned totes coming back to site. This is a physically active role involving regular lifting and manual handling, so you'll certainly stay moving throughout your shift.

Shift Options

• Days: 07:00 to 17:00 (4 days per week)
• Nights: 21:00 to 07:00 (4 nights per week)

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive Pay
• Basic rate: £13.09 per hour
• Night shift premium (11:45pm to 5:45am): £3.34 per hour
• Freezer premium: £0.80 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.25x your hourly rate
