Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Tamworth depot. You will work in the cold store, using voice picking technology to assemble orders for next-day delivery as part of a 5-from-7 shift pattern that includes weekends.

We value accuracy and speed in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including logging shortages, maintaining cleanliness, and wearing PPE. Competitive pay with weekend uplift is provided.

• Keeping trays stacked and the depot tidy; wearing PPE at all times.

ShiftTime: 1:30pm to 10pm

Pay Rate:£13.95 per hour (+ £1.15 for weekend work)

Shift Pattern: 5 from 7

As a Greencore warehouse operative you must be fully flexible to work any 5 of 7 days, which includes weekends, and must be comfortable working in a cold environment.

Tamworth:

Tamworth is a large picking depot and one of the busiest and most complexed in the area. The depot serves the major convenience retailers in the region and makes over 2000 deliveries per day.

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operativeto join our team based at our Tamworth depot.Working within our cold store warehouse, your role will involve picking orders using voice picking technology. Putting orders together for next-day delivery to our customers, you will be part of a warehouse team driven to deliver excellent customer service.

• Picking customer orders in our Warehouse
• Ensuring all orders are being picked accurately using 'voice pick' technology, and deliveries are placed in the appropriate delivery pallets at all times, marking the order size on the delivery notes
• Working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Logging product shortages and reporting them to the Management Team at the depot at the end of each shift
• Ensuring all trays are stacked and kept in the designated place before the shift ends
• Maintaining the depot's cleanliness and tidiness in work areas at all times
• Ensuring all PPE issued is worn at all times
