Job summary

Oakland International Limited in Redditch is seeking two Warehouse Operatives to join our logistics team. You will perform order picking, goods in, and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely completion while adhering to company policies. A strong team player with a can-do attitude is essential.

The role requires basic English and numeracy, experience with warehouse picking (scanner preferred), and proficiency with Excel and WMS. Food safety Level 2 is desirable.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal English, with numeracy for counts.
• Experience with warehouse picking and scanning is desirable.
• Proficiency with Excel and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Flexible with hours and a can-do attitude.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out order picking, goods in, and dispatch using the correct procedures and equipment.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks, with careful handling of products.
• Raising any product quality and stock control concerns with the Line Manager immediately.
• Covering all aspects of the logistics department, including goods in and picking.
• Adhering to the company's "clean as you go" policy to maintain housekeeping standards.
• Following all Health and Safety standards and reporting any issues to a supervisor or manager.
• Communicating with supervisors and managers daily to understand targets and schedules.
• Recording information correctly on daily sheets and systems (SNAP) and highlighting any issues.
