Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions are recruiting for a Flexi Forklift Driver to join the Normanton depot. The role covers picking, packing and dispatch tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency. Night shifts 18:00–06:00, 4 on/4 off, 38.5 hours weekly, with a salary of £29,150.71.

Applicants must hold a current license for CB, Reach or Flexi FLT, with upskilling options available for Reach or 5 years FLT experience. Excellent benefits and development opportunities offered.

Flexi Forklift Driver - Nights

Menzies Distribution Solutions have an excellent opportunity for aFlexi Forklift Driver, to join our teambased in Normanton to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods.The role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.

• Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Nights
• Hours: 18:00-06:00
• 38.5 paid hours / week
• Salary: £29,150.71

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• It is essential that you have a valid license for either CB, Reach or Flexi FLT and you will not be shortlisted if it is not clear on your CV that you have a valid current license
• If you have a Reach Forklift Licence, or 5 years FLT experience/licence we are able to upskill you to Flexi Licence

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to)

• Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations.
• Load trailers with customer goods in timely manner
• Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
• Manual handling of products
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
• Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
• Stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Good communication & team working skills
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

• Experience operating within a warehouse environment
• MHE - Articulated/Counterbalance/PPT licenses preferable
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
