Menzies Distribution Solutions in Scunthorpe is seeking a Night HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. You will undertake delivery and collection duties for our clients, with a 18:00–04:00 shift and 50 hours per week.

The role requires a full UK C+E licence and clean driving record; 2 years experience is desirable. Training on POD systems and loading equipment is provided, with a generous benefits package including holiday entitlement and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E licence.
• 2 years driving experience (desirable).
• No more than 6 points on licence; no disqualifications.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• General driving duties delivering and collecting to/from customers.
• Delivering product on behalf of client and their customer.
• Use of electronic POD and training provided.
• Assisting with loading and unloading.

The Details:

• Salary: £43,334.02Per Annum, £15.30 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Nights
• Working Hours:18:00-04:00
• 50 hours per week
• Location; Scunthorpe
• Monthly Pay

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations
• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 2 years previous class 1 driving experience (desirable)
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
