Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Warehouse Operative to ensure stores receive the right stock. You will pick, pack, and help with tasks to move 2,000+ products into customers' hands.

The role offers £14.45 per hour for a 40-hour contract, with extra pay for nights (£3.50) and bank holidays (£2). A generous benefits package includes 30–35 days’ holiday pro rata, staff discount, pension, and progression opportunities.

Summary

£14.45 per hour* | Full time: 40 hour contract | Shift times: Chiller department 0930-1730, Fruit and Veg department 1300-2030 | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme

Subsidised transport available from Weston-Super-Mare, Newport (available for all shifts) and Patchway Bristol (for our FV 13:00-20:30 shift) at a cost of £2 each way.

Just like you. As a Lidl Warehouse Operative, you’ll make sure our stores receive the right stock when they need it. From picking products to helping out in team tasks like checking stock, you’ll roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You’ll work through your orders independently to help get our 2,000-plus products into the hands of happy customers, taking pride in the fact that without you, our shelves would be empty.

In return, we’ll give you a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, with an additional £2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.

What you’ll do

• Pack a variety of our products including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C)
• Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure
• Report any damaged items to your manager
• Be responsible for independently working through your orders
