Job summary

Motel Rocks Group Ltd in Worcester, UK, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team on Thursdays and Fridays, 2pm-10pm. You will help ensure orders and returns are processed accurately and on time, maintain stock locations and help keep the warehouse tidy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately book incoming goods onto the warehouse system.
• Put stock away in the correct locations and ensure pick bins are replenished as required.
• Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners, following the required picking processes and timescales.
• Check, scan and pack customer orders accurately, ensuring the correct items, quantities, packing and shipping labels are used.
• Process customer returns, including scanning, folding and quality checking items.
• Carry out stock checks, ensuring accuracy and escalating any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised warehouse and work area.
• Support Motel's sustainability initiatives by considering how our practices can improve, actively working in line with the sustainability journey of the business.

Our story began during a road trip in the 1990s, where our founders, Will and Andy, travelled across America collecting vintage items while living out of motels. They started purchasing vintage clothing in the USA and selling it wholesale, which eventually led to the creation of stores. From there, they began designing reworked vintage pieces, and thus, Motel was born.

The role

Our Warehouse Operative will be responsible for making sure all customer orders and returns are processed in a accurate and timely manner, ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations.
