Job summary

Caesarstone Ltd. in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, is expanding its distribution team and recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a new shift-based operation.

You will handle loading and unloading containers and move stock around the warehouse, using a forklift and gantry crane where required. This full-time role offers 42.5 hours per week on a Monday to Friday schedule, with two shifts to choose from, and a salary of £30,500 per year, plus benefits including private health checks, pension salary

Qualifications

• Maintain a safe work environment per Caesarstone policies.
• Two years' experience in a similar role.
• Valid FLT licence and driving licence.
• No more than 3 points on your licence.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Physically fit to handle heavy products.
• Proficiency in reading and writing.
• Ability to use a PC.
• Methodical, and logical worker.
• Good team player; flexible.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers and trailers of heavy materials.
• Move stock around the warehouse and report damage.
• Record any slabs movement using a mobile terminal.

Caesarstone is an award-winning international designer and manufacturer of premium engineered stone surfaces for the commercial and residential interiors sector.

Following major expansion plans and the relocation of our Head Office and Distribution Centre, we are we are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to form part of our new team at our DC in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

You will be part of a new team who will be responsible for maintaining workloads to achieve departmental and facility objectives safely, productively, and efficiently. This will include loading and unloading containers and trailers of heavy materials using a fork lift and gantry crane. Other duties include movement of stock around the warehouse, including valuating and reporting damage. Report any slabs movement using a mobile terminal.

This is a full-time role, working, 42.5 hours per week Monday - Friday on a shift basis (06:30 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:30)

Requirements

• You must hold a valid FLT licence and driving licence

• Careful Worker and must be physically fit as products heavy
• Proficiency in reading and writing

• Gantry crane experience would be an advantage but not essential
