Lapicida is seeking a skilled Stone CNC Operator to join a dynamic team as the main operator of a 5-axis and 3-axis CNC machine. You will maintain high workmanship standards for a fast-paced, high-end brand and ensure precision in manufactured stone products.

Responsibilities include operating CNC mills, interpreting drawings, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with warehouse to ensure orders are ready for packing.

• Implementation of drawings to machine.
• Ensuring quality and precise items are produced ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and making necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse, maintaining an organised workspace.
• Ensure that all internal practices are adhered to.
• Working in a safe manner.
• To work closely with the Warehouse Department to ensure that information on all orders that are ready to pack is passed across.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery and production processes.
• Deal with external customers for maintenance contracts, repairs and additional equipment.
• Ability to interpret customers\' templates and drawings.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.

Lapicida are seeking a skilled Stone CNC Operator to join their dynamic team. This important role is to be the main operator of a 5 axis and 3 axis CNC machine. You will be responsible for maintaining and setting high standards of workmanship that will meet challenging demands of a fast paced high end brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a keen eye for detail. This role is essential in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Skills

• Proficient in operating CNC mills with a solid understanding of machining processes
• Must have knowledge of CAD/CAM/G codes/5 Axis and origins
• Ideally knowledge of Pegasus and Rhino for 3D objects
• Strong basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding machine functions and troubleshooting
• Experience with materials handling, ensuring safe and efficient movement of products
• Ability to work effectively with hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial
• Ability to multi task
• Team player with strong and timely communication skills
