Job summary

The Exchange is seeking a warehouse operative to support daily warehouse operations in Warrington. You will receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods, ensuring accuracy, safety and productivity as part of a team.

Ideal candidates have warehouse or logistics experience, familiarity with handheld scanners or WMS, and physical ability for heavy lifting. Forklift licensing is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Forklift licence is not essential, but would be an advantage.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to company procedures.
• Label, wrap, and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Unload and load vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and, where licensed, forklifts.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
