Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join a busy food ingredients operation in the UK. The role involves goods in/out, stock control, and warehouse duties, with responsibility for operating a forklift and performing basic equipment checks.

You will receive deliveries, book stock, pick and dispatch orders, and assist production by moving materials as needed. A valid forklift licence is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is required to operate the forklift and move goods.
• Experience with goods in/out and stock rotation would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operative - Forklift Driver

Pay: £13.46 per hour (£28,000 per year)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy food ingredients business. This is a hands-on role covering goods in, goods out and general warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include receiving and checking deliveries, booking stock onto the internal system, picking orders for dispatch and ensuring all stock is stored and rotated correctly. You will also support production by moving and replenishing raw materials and packaging as required.

You will play an important role in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently. The role will involve carrying out regular stocktakes, following FIFO stock rotation, preparing and securing pallets for dispatch, completing relevant paperwork and keeping the warehouse clean and organised. You will also be responsible for operating the forklift and carrying out basic equipment checks, so a valid forklift licence is essential for the position.
